Shree Rajarambapu Patil (1st August 1920 – ) was a visionary leader from Satara, dedicated to rural upliftment. After earning his law degree at 25, he founded the Kasegaon Education Society in 1945, promoting education through initiatives like Azad Vidyalaya and Sarvodaya Vasatigrah. A strong advocate of the cooperative movement, he established key institutions including the Rajarambapu Co-operative Sugar Factory, Walwa Co-operative Bank, and Rajarambapu Patil Sahakari Dudh Sangh Ltd. (1975), ensuring 100% farmer participation and fair income.
Fondly called “Lokneta,” he used politics to drive social change, serving as a Maharashtra minister and working in education, irrigation, and infrastructure. His legacy continues to inspire progress and empowerment in rural India.
