Pratik Jayant Patil

Jayant Patil, born in 1962 in Mumbai, is a prominent leader in Maharashtra’s industry and finance sectors. A civil engineering graduate from VJTI, he stepped into politics after the sudden demise of his father, Shri Rajarambapu Patil, a respected statesman and reformer. Though not initially groomed for politics, he took on the responsibility of continuing his father’s legacy by strengthening and modernizing cooperative institutions, especially in the dairy and sugar sectors. His progressive vision expanded these cooperatives beyond local boundaries, enhancing their efficiency, regional impact, and support for farmers across Western Maharashtra.
